Training and Meet Registration

Training Fees
At Metro Aquatics you pay each session you participate. Participation fees are due before the first day of practice each pay period. The following is a list of pay periods, and the corresponding participation fees for each group. To register by telephone, call 305-1022 and use the listed code.

Meet Fees
With Metro Aquatics, you pay for each meet you register for. The meet fees cover your individual and relay entry fees, any event related apparel, and a portion of direct coaching expenses. Metro Parks Tacoma pays meet hosts to register you in the meet, and will not receive a refund if you do not attend. Consequently, you will not receive a refund or credit from Metro Parks Tacoma if you do not attend or otherwise do not compete in an event you have been signed up for.

Coaches sign up all registered swimmers for their events. To sign up for only one day, or if you have special event requests (or other needs), please use the text box as you register to list specific items.


FEBRUARY CHALLENGE

Date(s): Saturday & Sunday, February 4-5, 2012
Location: Evergreen State College
Eligibility: All Ducklings, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Sectional swimmers

Saturday AM: 10&U Boys 12&U Girls; Saturday PM: 11&O Boys 13&O Girls; Sunday AM: 11&O Girls 13&O Boys; Sunday PM: 12&U Boys 10&U Girls. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #61150. Cost: $32 per athlete. You must USA Swimming registered to participate (see below). Registration Deadline: Jan 6


USA Swimming Registration
 To participate in any USA Swimming sanctioned activity or competition, swimmers are required to be members of USA Swimming. To register for USA Swimming, you register through Metro Parks Tacoma, and parks staff will register you through the Pacific Northwest Swimming office in Kent, WA.
$63.00 Annual Membership - All participants registering between September 1 and March 31, as well as those planning to attend a Sectional, Zone, or National Championship meet must register for an annual membership. This membership is valid through December 31, 2012 To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #60118.
