Training and Meet Registration
Training Fees
At Metro Aquatics you pay each session you participate. Participation fees are due before the first day of practice each pay period. The following is a list of pay periods, and the corresponding participation fees for each group. To register by telephone, call 305-1022 and use the listed code.

Meet Fees
With Metro Aquatics, you pay for each meet you register for. The meet fees cover your individual and relay entry fees, any event related apparel, and a portion of direct coaching expenses. Metro Parks Tacoma pays meet hosts to register you in the meet, and will not receive a refund if you do not attend. Consequently, you will not receive a refund or credit from Metro Parks Tacoma if you do not attend or otherwise do not compete in an event you have been signed up for.

Dual Meet v. Canterwood
	Date(s): Thursday, July 8, 2010 Location: Canterwood Country Club (Gig Harbor) Eligibility: All Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced swimmers This is a summer-league dual meet. Warmup begins at 11:30am, and the meet should last two-three hours. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #56024. Cost: $3 per athlete. Registration Deadline: July 6.
Dual Meet v. Oakbrook Golf & Swim
	Date(s): Thursday, July 15, 2010 Location: Oakbrook Golf & swim Club (Lakewood) Eligibility: All Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced swimmers This is a summer-league dual meet. Warmup begins at 11:00am, and the meet should last two-three hours. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #56033. Cost: $3 per athlete. Registration Deadline: July 13.
Dual Meet v. Tacoma Lawn & Tennis
	Date(s): Tuesday, July 20, 2010 Location: Mt. Tahoma HS Eligibility: All Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced swimmers This is a summer-league dual meet. Warmup begins at 8:00am, and the meet should last two-three hours. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #56025. Cost: $3 per athlete. Registration Deadline: July 18.
Dual Meet v. Fircrest
	Date(s): Saturday, July 24, 2010 Location: Fircrest Community Center (Fircrest) Eligibility: All Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Sectional swimmers This is a summer-league dual meet. Warmup begins at 8:00am, and the meet should last two-three hours. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #56026. Cost: $3 per athlete. Registration Deadline: July 22.
PACIFIC NORTHWEST SWIMMING LC CHAMPIONSHIP
	Date(s): July 29 - August 1, 2010 Location: WKCAC (Federal Way) Eligibility: Intermediate, Advanced, and Sectional swimmers who qualify Our USA Swimming summer championship meet. Times will vary depending on days and events swimming--contact your coach for more information. If you register and do not qualify you will be credited. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #56032. Cost: $50 per athlete. You must USA Swimming registered to participate (see below). Registration Deadline: July 19.
Dual Meet v. Gig Harbor YMCA
	Date(s): Tuesday, August 3, 2010 Location: Titlow Pool Eligibility: All Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced swimmers This is a summer-league dual meet. Warmup begins at 6:45pm, and the meet should last two-three hours. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #56027. Cost: $3 per athlete. Registration Deadline: August 1.
Dual Meet v. Vashon Island
	Date(s): Saturday, August 7, 2010 Location: Vashon Community Pool (Vashon island) Eligibility: All Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Sectional swimmers This is a summer-league dual meet. Warmup time will be announced and the meet should last two-three hours. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #56028. Cost: $3 per athlete. Registration Deadline: August 5.
Summer League Championship
	Date(s): Saturday, August 14, 2010 Location: Titlow Pool Eligibility: All Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Sectional swimmers This is the summer league championship meet. Warmup begins at 6:45am, and the meet should be over by 12:30pm. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #56029. Cost: $8 per athlete. Registration Deadline: August 12.

USA Swimming Registration
To participate in any USA Swimming sanctioned activity or competition, swimmers are required to be members of USA Swimming. To register for USA Swimming, you register through Metro Parks tacoma, and parks staff will register you through the Pacific Northwest Swimming office in Kent, WA.


	$61.00 Annual Membership - All participants registering between September 1 and March 31, as well as those planning to attend a Sectional, Zone, or National Championship meet must register for an annual membership. This membership is valid through December 31, 2010. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #53948.

	$33.00 Seasonal Membership - Participants registering between April 1 and August 31, and not planning to attend a Sectional, Zone, or National Championship should register for a seasonal membership. This membership is valid through September 1, 2010. To register over the telephone, call 305-1022 and use the barcode #55341.
